"The cottage was a really lovely base for my family and I. We enjoyed the proximity to the beautiful Suffolk coast. The kitchen had a lovely table for us to enjoy family meals and the bathroom was newly refitted. The upstairs was so comfortable especially the huge king sized beds! It was also great to have an outdoor space to sip tea in and decompress! The lounge was also cozy to relax after a busy day at the seaside. Would recommend. Thank you Lyster for a great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in Southwold at this gem! We visited for the Latitude Festival and it was the perfect base for exploring a bit of Southwold and travelling into the festival each day. "Great comfortable stay for the family. We parked at York Road a few minutes away. You are at town or the beach within minutes. Host was very friendly and quick to get respond. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed having two seating areas when teens wanted their own space to chill for a bit. I would stay again. Thank you."

"The cottage was really quaint and comfortable especially the bedrooms. It was peaceful, easy to find with good parking. It worked well for our family and we had a lovely holiday. We were there during a heatwave and the provision of fans was thoughtful and made the cottage comfortable at nighttime. The surrounding area is so beautiful and we found plenty to do in local towns and villages which are working hard to keep their communities going strong. Loved it and would recommend to anyone looking to get away from city life for a quiet break close to the seaside."

"FABULOUS COTTAGE IN CENTRAL SOUTHWOLD Positive: Absolutely lovely cottage - very well located in the middle of town so easy to walk to the beach, harbour, shops, restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Very good communications with hosts. Easy access into the property. Well equipped. Small communal outside area with plenty of seating and very friendly neighbours! Good wifi! Would highly recommend this property and would like to visit again. It was perfect for our family. Negative: Not applicable!"

"We have had a wonderful family stay perfect accommodation. Enough room for all… very helpful and attentive host when we needed to contact him. Perfect location for shops and the beach, our 4 and half year old grandson could walk the distance to the beach easily. We would definitely recommend staying here as we could not fault it! "We were very fortunate to stay here after a refurb - the location was perfect and close to supermarket restaurants etc. the beds were very comfy and property clean and the host also put fans in each bedroom which was a big help with mid-thirties temperatures. Fantastic experience and we hope to stay again next year"
