Ebenezer Chapel, Knodishall

A beautifully restored chapel in the quiet village of Knodishall, right on the edge of the common and a short drive from the Suffolk coast. Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are close by, with Leiston, Saxmundham and Southwold all within easy reach.

Inside, the vaulted sitting room is light and airy, with a woodburning stove for cosy evenings. A stylish fitted kitchen and dining area makes it easy to cook and eat together. There are two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, plus a bathroom and a separate shower room, sleeping up to four.

Step out of the door for walks on the common, then head off to Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere, Framlingham Castle or the beach. A small front patio is a nice spot for a morning coffee. Dogs are welcome, and there is a village shop and pub nearby. It also suits working stays, with Wi-Fi and a washing machine.
