Our contractor-friendly homes are set up for people who are out early and back tired. Expect fast Wi-Fi for evening calls and paperwork, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and enough beds for colleagues who would rather not share. Where a home has single beds or twin rooms, the property page says so.

Parking is often the deciding factor. Several of our homes have driveways or yards with room for more than one vehicle, and others have easy on-street parking. If you are bringing vans or trailers, tell us the number and size when you enquire and we will be straight with you about which homes suit.

Most crews book by the week, often Monday to Friday or for a run of weeks at a time. Some homes offer reduced rates for longer stays; these show automatically when you search your dates. Minimum stays and arrival days differ between homes, and the booking calendar only lets you pick dates the home can accept.

Plans on large projects change. If you think you might need to extend, ask early and we will do our best to help, although we can never promise a home will be free beyond your booked dates.

We provide VAT receipts for business bookings, so expenses and company accounts are simple. If your company needs the booking in its own name or a purchase order reference on the paperwork, mention it when you book. We do not give tax advice, so please check with your own accountant how your stay should be treated.

Leiston and Sizewell are the closest bases, a few minutes from the coast road. Middleton is a quiet village a short drive north, with space to park and a village pub. Saxmundham is a little further inland, usually around 15 to 20 minutes' drive, with large supermarkets and the railway station, which suits workers who go home by train at weekends.
